Job Title: ZSPACE AR/VR Implementation Specialist

Salary Range: $42,000 Base, $10,000 Bonus Potential
Summary:
The ZSPACE Implementation Specialist will be responsible for the initiation, implementation, and future of Epic’s ZSPACE VR/AR Technology Pilot Program. Initial project equipment, including ZSPACE and Telepresence, was funded by the USDA RD RUS DLT Grant. In turn, Personnel executes the grant, specifically the ZSPACE component, but not limited to it. Other duties would include monitoring and coordinating with the grants department in order to meet compliance requirements, post-award grant activities, and accurate reporting to the USDA RUS DLT department concerning all things ZSPACE related. The Specialist will be EPIC’s expert in ZSPACE instructional strategies and will develop and create the architecture for the instructional department to easily adopt into their lesson plans. This will include creating the vision, building professional development, and integrating the program as part of core academic subjects. The Specialist will also work to maximize collaboration opportunities amongst faculty and staff to encourage usage of the ZSPACE initiative. Finally, the Specialist will work closely with the Director of STEAM to further build out the STEAM-related learning opportunities for EPIC students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute a plan for instructional faculty to utilize the ZSPACE laboratories.
- Responsible for training teachers how to teach virtually with ZSPACE- for example, courses in the Epic Live platform
- Monitor and coordinate the administration of post-award grant activities with appropriate staff and stakeholders
- Research STEAM/ZSPACE related resources to help plan and facilitate professional development for the district.
- Participate in research and meetings with assigned curriculum vendors, and offer support to teachers as needed.
- Serve as a resource for teachers, principals, and administration in identifying appropriate instructional strategies and interventions to improve individual student achievement using the ZSPACE laboratories.
- Meets regularly (weekly) with the administrative team to review the implementation and execution of ZSPACE Initiative goals. Attends other meetings and training as directed.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Grant experience is desired but not mandatory
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to present effectively and persuasively.
Language Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with students, families and coworkers, both verbally and in writing.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Tools. Must have an understanding of using the Google suite as most lessons will be created with that system. Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.
