Job Title: Registrar
Department: Student Records
Reports To: Director of Student Records
Summary:
The Registrars process the records requests for all of our Epic students. They answer questions, assist with processes, and provide customer service to our families and other schools. They ensure the guidelines and regulations regarding receiving and sending school records are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Actively participate in the success of Epic Charter School
- Adhere to laws, policies, procedures and ethical standards of Epic Charter School
- Request records and input information into the required school database for records
- Complete drivers letter permits
- Complete social security forms
- Fulfill proof of enrollment forms
- Scan all incoming documents
- Frequent use of google docs, spreadsheets, Ever Note Filing system
- Responsible for grade school scheduling outside of automatic courses
- Utilize company filing system to store documents
- Utilize database to print transcripts and report cards
- Ability to address elementary GSM assignments
- Conduct documentation audits
- Conduct grade level audits as needed
- Provide family support for students in assigned grades
- Remote work required depending on business needs
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No supervisory responsibilities
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
- Experience with records regulations in Oklahoma preferred
- Administrative support/clerical experience required

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal communications, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from families or members of the business community. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families and coworkers, both verbally and in writing.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills required
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office and the Google Suite with the ability to manage multiple computer screens. Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.

- Current driver's license and valid car insurance
Other Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a state-mandated background check after a conditional offer of employment is made
- Must have favorable employment references
