Job Title:  Southwest Region Specialist

Reports To: Lead Region Specialist

Compensation Range: 50,000 to 55,000

Classification: Classified 

 

Summary: 

The Native Programs Region Specialist works closely with the Lead Region Specialist within the Native American Programs department. Their primary responsibility is to provide support to Native American students and their families, ensuring culturally relevant programming and resources are implemented effectively. This position will focus on our students in the Southwest region of the state.

Language Skills 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Ability to effectively present information to students, families and supervisors. 

Mathematical Skills 

Basic math skills required 

Reasoning Ability 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Google applications, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with EdPlan preferred. Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.

This position is remotely based and also must travel to various Epic sites. This requires spending a significant amount of time in the car, driving in various conditions and at various times of day. The noise level is quiet to moderately loud (when students are present.)
