Job Title: Human Resources Support Specialist

Summary: 

The Human Resources Support Specialist handles a variety of personnel-related administrative duties. They act as a liaison between HR managers and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. They also support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes, and relevant documents. 

An ideal candidate for the support specialist position has an academic HR background. For this role, they should be able to work autonomously and assist the HR team with many HR duties, specifically crafting Purchase Orders (POs) as part of procurement processes.

Qualifications 

Language Skills 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal communications, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from families or members of the business community. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and coworkers verbally and in writing. 

Mathematical Skills 

Basic math skills required. 

Reasoning Ability 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

 

Computer Skills 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office and Google Tools with the ability to manage multiple computer screens. Strong knowledge of Excel is preferred. Knowledge of web conferencing/meeting tools. Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.

This position works in the Oklahoma City Epic Administration office. The noise level is quiet to moderately loud (when students are present.)
